ORACLE FUSION TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

As an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, your role involves working with Oracle’s Fusion Applications, which are a suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software products. Your primary responsibilities may include:

  1. Implementation: You will be involved in implementing Oracle Fusion Applications for clients. This process includes analyzing business requirements, configuring the software to meet those requirements, and customizing the application if needed.

  2. Integration: Oracle Fusion Applications often need to integrate with other systems within an organization, such as legacy applications or third-party software. You will be responsible for designing and implementing these integrations.

  3. Customization: While Oracle Fusion Applications offer a wide range of functionalities, some clients may require additional customizations to meet specific business needs. As a consultant, you will work on developing custom extensions and solutions.

  4. Data Migration: In many cases, clients will already have existing data in their systems that need to be migrated to Oracle Fusion Applications. You will be involved in planning and executing data migration activities.

  5. Training and Support: As part of the implementation process, you will provide training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the new system. Additionally, you may offer ongoing support to address any issues or questions that arise post-implementation.

  6. Upgrades and Maintenance: Oracle frequently releases updates and new versions of Fusion Applications. As a consultant, you may be involved in assisting clients with upgrades and performing regular maintenance activities.

  7. Troubleshooting: In the event of issues or errors with the system, you will investigate and troubleshoot technical problems to find appropriate solutions.

To succeed as an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you will need a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications and their underlying technologies, including Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework), Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle WebCenter. Additionally, knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, and web technologies will be beneficial.
