AWS BlockChain
Amazon Web Services (AWS) had various services related to blockchain technology. However, keep in mind that the AWS platform and services are continually evolving, and new developments may have occurred since then. I’ll provide an overview of some of the key AWS blockchain-related services as of my last update:
-
Amazon Managed Blockchain: Amazon Managed Blockchain is a fully managed service that allows you to create and manage scalable blockchain networks using popular frameworks such as Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric. With Managed Blockchain, you can easily set up and deploy blockchain networks without the complexities of manually managing infrastructure.
-
Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB): While not a traditional blockchain, QLDB is a fully managed ledger database that provides a transparent, immutable, and cryptographically verifiable transaction log. It is designed for applications that require an authoritative and tamper-proof ledger.
-
Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK): Although not a blockchain-specific service, MSK can be utilized in building blockchain applications. It is a fully managed service that makes it easy to build and run applications that use Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
-
AWS Blockchain Templates: AWS provides pre-built blockchain templates that allow you to quickly deploy blockchain networks on AWS infrastructure. These templates support both Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric.
-
Ethereum on AWS: AWS offers various resources and tools to deploy and manage Ethereum-based blockchain networks. This includes using Ethereum nodes, development frameworks like Truffle, and infrastructure services for scalability and performance.
-
Hyperledger Fabric on AWS: Hyperledger Fabric is an open-source blockchain framework, and AWS allows you to deploy and manage Fabric networks on its platform. You can use the Managed Blockchain service or set up your own Fabric infrastructure using AWS resources.
