AWS Remote Desktop

Share

Amazon Web Services (AWS) does not offer a specific service called “AWS Remote Desktop.” However, AWS provides several services that allow you to access virtual machines or desktop environments remotely.

1. Amazon WorkSpaces: Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed desktop computing service that allows you to provision Windows or Linux desktops in the cloud. Users can access their WorkSpaces from a variety of devices, including Windows and macOS computers, Chromebooks, and tablets.

2. Amazon EC2 Instances: Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) allows you to create and manage virtual machines in the cloud. You can set up a Windows or Linux EC2 instance and access it remotely using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) for Windows or SSH for Linux.

3. Amazon AppStream 2.0: Amazon AppStream 2.0 is a fully managed application streaming service that enables you to stream desktop applications securely to a web browser on any device, including Windows and macOS.

If you are looking for a remote desktop solution, Amazon WorkSpaces or EC2 instances with RDP access might be the most suitable options. However, please note that AWS might introduce new services or make updates after my last update, so it’s always a good idea to check the official AWS documentation or console for the latest services and offerings.
