JDK 1.8 (Java Development Kit 8) is available for download from Oracle’s website. However, please note that software versions and download links may change over time, 

To download JDK 1.8 from Oracle, you can follow these steps

1. Go to the official Oracle website: https://www.oracle.com/
2. Hover your mouse over the “Downloads” menu in the top navigation bar.
3. From the dropdown menu, select “Java” or “Java SE.”
4. Look for the download section related to JDK 8 or Java 8.
5. Accept the license agreement if prompted.
6. Choose the appropriate installer for your operating system (Windows, macos).
7. Click on the download link to start the download.
8. Once the download is complete, run the installer and follow the installation instructions to set up JDK 1.8 on your system.

Remember that Java 8 is quite outdated, and it’s recommended to use a more recent version if possible to benefit from the latest features, security updates, and bug fixes.  JDK 17 was the latest long-term support (LTS) version.
