SAP Production Planning (PP) is the backbone of any manufacturing organization. - Goods Issue and Confirmation (CO, MB): COIK or MB26 picks materials from the warehouse, while MB31 confirms their receipt at the production unit. COR6N confirms the completion of production phases within a process order.
4. Maintaining Visibility: Production Monitoring and Control (CO, KK)
Keeping a watchful eye ensures smooth operation:
- Shop Floor Control (CO): CO functions like COOIS provide real-time information on process order status, resource availability, and potential bottlenecks.
- Work in Progress (WIP) Tracking (KK): KKAX and KKAO offer insights into WIP (Work in Progress) inventory, helping identify areas for improvement.
5. Completion and Review: Goods Receipt and Reporting (MB, CO)
Finally, we wrap things up:
- Goods Receipt (MB): MB31 confirms the receipt of finished goods in the warehouse.
- Production Variance Analysis (CO): The reports generated allow for analyzing variances between planned and actual production costs and quantities.
