AWS Cassandra
Amazon Web Services (AWS) does not offer a managed Cassandra service directly under the name “AWS Cassandra.” However, AWS provides a managed Apache Cassandra-compatible database service called “Amazon Keyspaces” (formerly known as Amazon Managed Apache Cassandra Service or AMS).
Amazon Keyspaces is a fully managed, scalable, and serverless database service that supports the Apache Cassandra API. It allows you to build applications using Cassandra’s familiar data model while benefiting from the automated scaling, backups, and maintenance features provided by AWS.
With Amazon Keyspaces, you can store and retrieve data using Cassandra Query Language (CQL) and integrate your applications seamlessly with AWS services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS CloudFormation, and Amazon CloudWatch.
