POWER BI ATHENA
Power BI is a business intelligence and data visualization tool developed by Microsoft. Amazon Athena, on the other hand, is a serverless query service offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) for querying data stored in Amazon S3 using standard SQL.
Power BI allows users to connect to a wide range of data sources, including databases, cloud services, and files, to create interactive reports and dashboards. However, as of my last update, there was no direct, built-in connector for Amazon Athena in Power BI.
To use Amazon Athena data in Power BI, you could follow these general steps:
Export Data: Export the data from Amazon Athena to a format that Power BI can read, such as CSV, Excel, or any other supported file format.
Import Data: In Power BI, import the exported data file using the “Get Data” option. Choose the appropriate data source type, and load the data into Power BI.
Transform Data: If needed, perform any necessary data transformation, cleansing, or modeling in Power BI’s Power Query Editor.
