Tableau Badges
Tableau Badges were a gamification feature within the Tableau Community. The Tableau Community is an online platform where Tableau users can connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on data visualization projects.
Tableau Badges were virtual achievements that users earned by participating in various activities and contributing to the community. Each badge represented a specific accomplishment or milestone within the community. Some common ways users could earn badges included:
Answering Questions: Users who provided helpful answers to questions posted by other community members on the Tableau forums or community Q&A section could earn badges for their contributions.
Publishing Vizzes: When users published data visualizations (vizzes) to Tableau Public and shared them with the community, they could receive badges for sharing their work.
Receiving Likes: Users could earn badges based on the number of likes their posts, questions, or answers received from other community members.
Collaborating: Users who actively participated in collaborative projects or shared their expertise with others in the community could earn badges for their efforts.
