AWS Web Console
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Management Console is a browser-based graphical user interface for AWS services. AWS customers can manage their web services and resources in the cloud using this interface.
In the AWS Management Console, users can:
- Create, configure, and manage AWS services, including but not limited to Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon S3 buckets, Amazon RDS databases, and AWS IAM users.
- Monitor their AWS resources: AWS offers several monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray which integrate with the console to provide metrics and insights.
- Set up and receive notifications about their AWS resources through AWS CloudWatch.
- Access AWS Marketplace to find, buy, and immediately start using the software and services that run on AWS.
- Secure their data: Security tools like AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM), AWS Shield, AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) can be managed from the console.
The console organizes AWS services by category like compute, storage, IoT, machine learning etc. for easy discovery and navigation. You can also search for services by name. AWS Management Console also offers a mobile app for Android and iOS for accessing services on-the-go.
