Conquering Production with SAP PP: A Guide to Essential Tcodes

The SAP Production Planning (PP) module is the heart of manufacturing operations. But navigating its functionalities can be daunting with all those mysterious transaction codes (tcodes)! Planning and Forecasting:

• MD01/MD02/MD04: The dynamic trio for planned order management. MD01 creates planned orders (semi-finished products), MD02 modifies existing ones, and MD04 informs you of the stock and requirements situation.
• MD61: Forecast future demand for finished products with the magic of planned independent requirements (PIRs) using this tcode.

Shop Floor Control:

• CO11N/COR6N: These tcodes are your companions for recording production confirmations. CO11N offers a single-screen entry for simple confirmations, while COR6N caters to confirmations with multiple operations.
