                        Hadoop HDFS Maven

  1. Create a Maven Project:

    • If you haven’t already, create a new Maven project or use an existing one as your development project.
  2. Add Hadoop Dependencies:

    • You need to add Hadoop dependencies to your project’s pom.xml file to access Hadoop HDFS functionality. Add the following dependency for Hadoop Common and HDFS:

    • Write Java code to create an HDFS client and interact with HDFS. You can use the org.apache.hadoop.fs package to work with HDFS. Here’s a simple example to get you started:

    In this example, we create an HDFS client, set the HDFS address, and create a new directory in HDFS. You can use various methods provided by the FileSystem class to perform operations like reading, writing, and deleting files and directories in HDFS.

  4. Build and Run:

    • Build your Maven project using the mvn clean install command or your IDE’s build tools.
    • Run your Java application to interact with HDFS.
